Best Betting Sites For Horse Racing

Whilst not the first name that may spring to mind when you talk about horse racing, Sky have created a fantastic betting product that is definitely worth a look. The website and app are among the most use friendly websites we've seen, and they're packed with features including live streaming, cash out (including multiples) and a 'request a bet' feature for a price on pretty much anything.

In terms of promotions they have some fantastic offers. As well as the normal BOG and a massive range of daily price boosts, they also offer £5 in free bets every week and some pretty incredible promotions on big meetings - think along the lines of 'money back if you lose' on selected races.

Bet365 are one of the very best bookmakers around for racing fans for a number of reasons, not least their impressive selection of risk free bets and offers, starting with a £200 deposit bonus for new customers.

Their 4/1 offer is potentially an unlimited supply of risk free bets on the horses whilst they also offer Best Odds Guaranteed and a price promise on all races televised on ITV which means they won’t be beaten on price on any horse by their main rivals. Throw in a good in-play console and superb live streaming options and you have a racing bookie that is hard to beat.

Coral are another fine British institution, dating back to 1928, and they have a serious passion for the horses. As well as their free £20 bet for new customers they offer Best Odds Guaranteed, exceptional live streaming facilities that are mobile compatible and their own radio station offering loads of commentaries, not just on racing.

The site is very nicely laid out, the odds are above average and customer service, although not 24/7 is very efficient. They also have an interesting feature – “Where the money’s going” – that allows you to see which horse in the next race is receiving most attention from the market. Plus faller insurance and regular offers. All in all, a very impressive outfit.

Like most of the big UK bookies Betfred has exceptional coverage when it comes to horse racing and, as you would expect from the self-proclaimed bonus king, plenty of freebies too. In particular they are not to be ignore when it comes to full cover bets - offering the biggest 'one winner' bonus in the industry (3x for a Lucky 15, 5x for a Lucky 63). Plus extra winnings when you successfully win every leg.

They offer good levels of customer service, odds that are above average, £60 in free bets and bonuses for new customers and Best Odds Guaranteed on all UK and Irish races.

Victor Chandler presents himself as the gentleman bookmaker and so is a natural fit with the Sport of Kings. Their odds are among the best you will see away from the exchanges and whilst their £40 welcome bonus is a greatest incentive to join, it's the regular free bets and racing promotions which will keep you betting. BetVictor often offer specials if your horse is a faller, if it is beaten by a particular favourite or loses by a narrow margin.

In addition they are Best Odds Guaranteed on all UK and Irish races, allow mobile or PC streaming and generally go non-runner no bet or non-runner free bet (you get your money back but as a free bet not cash) on the big meetings. Up there with the very best, without a doubt.

Totesport is the home of betting on horses for some people due to the popular totepool jackpots that throw up prizes worth millions of pounds. For regular day to day betting they are also a fine option with their simple £25 free bet, daily racing specials and enhancements and Racing Post link-up that integrates the paper’s content into Tote’s race cards.

The fact that they offer Best Odds Guaranteed on only some races is a minor negative and the site could do with freshening up but overall they are a good option, especially if you fancy becoming a millionaire!

The daddy of all betting exchanges Betfair offers superb odds, especially the further down the betting you go. Their liquidity and range of markets is better than main rival Betdaq and they also offer more in the way of regular promotions and free bets.

They are a huge operation so the site is as well designed as you would expect and the security and integrity are also excellent. Their in-play offering is second to none whilst they have an impressive selection of racing extras such as radio, live streaming, form, news and stats. They also offer the widest range of racing markets we know of, a free bet and even cashback!

Ladbrokes’ association with horses goes right back to 1886 when horses were trained at Ladbroke Hall. They are certainly a fine place to punt if you a diehard fan of the Sport of Kings or just fancy the occasional flutter on the nags.

Their opening £50 free bet offer is better than average, as is their customer service provision (they offer 24/7 live chat) and their odds.

With a website that is always improving and a good in-play console their technology is good and racing fans should note they offer Best Odds Guaranteed on all UK/Irish races, plenty of live streaming and a good selection of ongoing offers and special promotions, such as a recent money back special and offering a “non-runner no bet” promotion for selected meetings.
